Tunka is a social group of paintballers in the Boulder, CO area. At this time, all official Tunka games are scheduled in the vicinity of Boulder, CO. Boulder is referenced throughout this site for the sole purpose of scheduling and organizing games (we do not represent Boulder nor is membership exclusive to Boulder residents). Any member willing to drive to any Tunka game is always welcome regardless of where they reside. Paintball is a game were players use CO2 propelled paintball guns that shoot paintballs 0.68 inches in diameter. The balls are completely biodegradable since they are made of food ingredients. The outside is a gelatin capsule that holds food coloring colored polyethylene glycol within. Polyethylene glycol is a common ingredient in cough syrup and many other foods.

Tunka was started in March 2003 which makes us a relatively new group but growing! The goal of this site is to bring paintball players in the Boulder, CO area together so that we can all play together. As many of you already know, there is no commercial paintball field in Boulder, CO although there are some indoor paintball fields in the Denver area.
